Bulgaria is second most attractive investment location in the world
Minister of Economy and Energy Petar Dimitrov announced the latest statistics of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, according which Bulgaria has become the second most attractive investment location in the world after Hong Kong, The Telegraf Daily learned.
For the past three years, about EUR 21 billion of investments were directed towards Bulgaria. By country, the largest financial contribution to Bulgaria belongs to Austria, followed by Greece and Cyprus.
Bulgaria is among the leading thirty countries in terms of government competitiveness.
According to a statistics of the European Commission, the 5, 9% unemployment rate in Bulgaria is under the average level for Europe, Dimitrov informed.
